Alejandra is from Mexico City and recently graduated from Loughborough University, where she studied Security, Peacebuilding and Diplomacy . With a background in Politics she has worked in the private and public sector. She has volunteered for NGOs based in Lebanon and Mexico, helping raising funds for refugees and mentoring low-income children. She founded the first feminist organisation of her University, where she promoted debates related to gender equality, violence committed against women, sexual diversity, women´s political representation, among others. She has worked in the National Commission of Human Rights in Mexico helping the communities affected by organized crime and recently, she has focused in political writing, social data analysis, and social issues research.

 She is driven by providing help to her community and raising opportunities for the most disadvantaged and vulnerable members of society. She believes that there is a world out there in the future fair for all.
