We have recently had the pleasure of creating a feature on Alexander Paul, for the Equality Exhibitions (watch this space!)

Alexander spoke publicly about his struggles with stop & searches and was involved with the Mental Health Society at Warwick University, where he assisted in some of their workshops. To find out more about Alexander and his work, please visit https://www.climbingcloudscc.com/

Alexander used poetry as a way of expressing his emotions and the struggles he and his friends faced. Sadly, he was not able to share his poetry with the world, as he was diagnosed with stage 4 malignant glioblastoma.

In this interview, Joanna talks about her son and the lack of money funding research into brain cancer.

After meeting with Alexander’s mum, Joanna, we felt it was important to raise awareness of the condition.

Glioblastoma is the most aggressive form of cancer that begins within the brain.

There is no clear cause and no way  to prevent the disease. Symptoms can include headaches, nausea and personality changes.
