The Croydon Mayor visits our Equality Exhibition

Today saw the official opening of the Womens Equality strand of the Equality Exhibition in Croydon. The Mayor of Croydon, Councillor Manju Shahul-Hameed cut the ribbon after a guided tour by our Trustees Navrita Atwal and Uroy Clarke, along with our Chief Executive Julie Ion.

On cutting the ribbon The Mayor said “This is an inspirational Exhibition and the potential for students to benefit is great. We need to recreate the self belief in our young people to better equip them for the future”

We would like to extend our thanks to the Mayor of Croydon and to all the charities that came along to support this event.

Watch this space for further news updates on our Exhibition. The next strand being covered is the History of Racial Equality throughout the UK. This Exhibition will firstly be visiting Bradford and opens on the 17th November 2014.
