UK Maternal Mental Health Week – 29th April – 5th May

Posted: 29th Apr 2019

The UK maternal mental health week starts from 29th April and ends of 5th May

This is organised by the MMHA member the perinatal mental health partnership.

This is a week long campaign dedicated to talking about mental health illness during pregnancy or after having a baby and signposting support for all mums. The focus is to advocate for all the mums affected by maternal mental health and helping them access the information and help they need to recover.

This year’s theme for the third annual UK Maternal Mental Health Matters Awareness Week is Mums Matter.

Due to loss of some of our funding we were no longer able to afford to remain in our current office space. This meant staff were losing their office and meeting space, with no alternative place to work.
