PhD in Environment and Climate Change Management, Consultant, Author, Radio Presenter and Town Councillor

Shabnam has achieved her PhD in Environmental Science, Climate Change Modelling from University of Plymouth, England. She was a fellowship researcher and lecturer at various universities in the UK and abroad.  Alongside her solid, long history of academic, research Shabnam has intensively engaged with the local communities and different charities for the last ten years. She has been running a supplementary school in MK since 2013, freely teaching children and youngsters several languages, helping them towards GCSE and A-Level exams in their mother tongue language in MK and surrounding counties. 

 Additionally, Shabnam is a national campaigner on Mental Health Awareness and Climate Change Emergency, and a White Ribbon Champion too. She is passionate about politics and because of this became a Town Councillor and Voice Chair of the Community Committee in West Bletchley Council.

Due to loss of some of our funding we were no longer able to afford to remain in our current office space. This meant staff were losing their office and meeting space, with no alternative place to work.
