Five things you should know about Jeans for Genes 

 

  1. 1 in 25 Children in the UK have a genetic disorder
  2. £350 will pay for a child with a genetic disorder to spend a weekend away with other children like them, supported by trained medical staff
  3. £750 pays for a specialist nurse to care for a child with a genetic disorder after a bone marrow transplant
  4. Money raised funds Oily Cart, an interactive, multi-sensory theatre production – read more about Oily Cart here
  5. Helen’s role as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for granulomatous disorder at Great Ormond street Hospital, is funded by monies raised. Read more here
