Christmas Jumper Day

Posted: 19th Jan 2018

Christmas 2017

On Friday the 15th of December, the Centric Team and their office companions donned their most festive Christmas jumpers in aid of Save The Children.

Save the Children hold this annual event to raise money to “protect children, give them a healthy start and the chance to learn”.

Christmas Jumper Day this year raised an incredible total amount of £1,903,994!

This money will be used to supply resources to children in poverty, protect vulnerable children, fight for their rights, education and health and give food to children in need.

Save the Children do vital work overseas in addition to here in the UK.

In England, more than a quarter of children live in poverty.  Save the Children give grants to low income families to help pay for essential items for children’s development, such as a bed, a cooker, or toys and books. They run multiple programmes to strengthen relationships between families, schools and other community stakeholders, meaning that children have the best support network possible.

We donated! Will you? If so, visit this page. Every little helps.

We are saving about £30,000 a year on storage space for all of our donated items.
